One of my favorite books is The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom. Corrie ten Boom and her family helped many Jews escape to freedom during the Nazi Holocaust in the Netherlands. Her family was betrayed and sent to prison. Great suffering and adversity challenged the faith of the ten Booms. Yet they remained strong.
Every day we face challenges and adversity that can paralyze us from moving forward in our lives. We must learn to realize that worry does not change our situation or at all help...in fact, worry drains the strength that we have to fight.
As a follower of Christ, I must choose to keep my eyes on Him and remember that God is bigger than my problems. I must equip myself each day, focus on my great God, and unite with others of the same cause so that I can move forward in my life with strength.
We are pretty sure that we were born in the wrong era :)...we love the Dick van Dyke show, black and white movies, vintage furniture, old books, and singers like Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland. And just for fun, we love to wear hats (Rick could never have too many fedoras). Enjoy!

Micah is Bethany's witty brother and Ashley is his thoughtful and gorgeous girlfriend. These two attend college together and are studying to be in the medical field. When they asked us to do a few shots of them together, we of course, were thrilled.

I couldn't be more pleased at how this family session turned out. These two sweet girls and their beautiful mother are such fun people! Tori and Bailey had so many great ideas for poses and loved being behind the camera. Aside from being great models, Tori and Bailey enjoy music, art, and family time. We shot this photo session at the lovely Cherokee Lake near the Rose Garden in Thomasville, Georgia.
