Even though the day was very hot and humid, we were able to get some great shots. When you see these two together, you just know that they are in love. Paul, I am so glad that you found such a sweet girl to marry. Jessica, I am excited to have you as a sister-in-law. Thanks for letting us capture a few photos of you two together!
I used to have this one word on our bedroom wall, "LOVE." It looked so lonely there by itself. So after a little pinning, planning, and purchasing, I came up with a little college of pictures, colorful frames, and mirrors that I am quite happy with.
These two photos from Better Homes and Gardens brought the inspiration...
What makes these two photo collages go together well is 1) Unity--the monochromatic white frames 2) Variety--different colors (left) or shapes (right). Thinking of these two elements--unity and variety--I came up with this wall art for our bedroom.
I used the black and white photos and well as the teal color palette to create unity and the different shapes arrangement to create variety.
The frames are wooden and hand-painted with acrylic paint from Hobby Lobby (love that store!). The mirrors are candle coasters from the Dollar Tree that I painted with enamel paint and attached wall hooks to the back. The "LOVE" sign is from Hobby Lobby given to us for our wedding.
I am happy with the way it turned out and I think the "LOVE" sign is happy to have company. :)
What do you think?
