A few weeks ago, I ordered some photography gadgets that I am sooo excited to try out...like a speedlite, macro extension tube, and remote (I am especially excited to try out the remote...yay for self-portraits!). Today, I tried out the macro extension tube kit and took some ring shots.
The macro extension tube is very inexpensive, but actually seems to work quite well.
Any comments and suggestions for me to improve my work?
This past weekend, we enjoyed some fun times with friends, family, and our church.
Every year on the last Saturday in October, our little south Georgia town (Boston, GA), hosts a half-marathon, 5k walk event, and Fun 1-mile Run for kids. Rick and his college friend Josh decided to take on the half-marathon challenge--Rick for the 3rd time and Josh for the 1st.
Our church set up a booth for the first time--we gave out free water, provided sermon CDs and information about our church, and gave the kids free face painting and taught them how to make salvation bracelets. It was very windy but we had a great time!
On Sunday, our church celebrated Homecoming and the 100th anniversary of our church building. We were very glad to have our fellow musician friends Victor and Megan to join us to provide some special instrumental music. They are amazing!
