Well, for the first time, folks (in my life), I got my email inbox down to zero!!! For anyone who knows me well, I get 100s of emails (literally) a day. I receive emails that are business-related, online deals, coupons, newsletters, and lots of other great stuff. And I have been pretty good about deleting quickly what I don't want to read or unsubscribing from newsletters/junk mail that I don't need. My usual way of processing through emails was to read/respond to the easy ones and "mark as unread" the ones that I needed to respond to but need more time. It was such a faulty system....and my emails (*that needed action*) sometimes slipped through the cracks and seemed to disappear into a virtual nothingness...until this book...
Getting Things Done is about developing a stress-free productive lifestyle. Most of this book is about getting all of your projects, responsibilities, etc. in order. I am still working on getting my life inbox to zero (*you will understand when you read the book*) because there is way more going on in my life than in my email.

*Note: Of course, always delete emails you are never going to read/use again. And better still, if you find yourself never reading on of those email subscriptions, unsubscribe!
Now you may be thinking "Erg! I'm so confused!" And that's ok. Try reading this great book Getting Things Done and maybe things will get clearer.
